a while ago I joined a little picnic with a friend :). We ended up photographing and wandering around the woods. I loved it!It was just that time when the temperatures were kicked up for the first time this year and we thought we’d use our chance. We basically put our picnic right in the middle of a small road. But there were no people coming along anyway. The only unwelcome visitors we had to take care of were some spiders, flies and bees. I love this picture of the flowers. I didn’t take it though, my friend did. My camera has got no mirror but hers does. I’m not sure if my camera would be able to do something like that. It tries to focus on everything all the time. ;) Like in this one. Fine as well, isn’t it?Oh, and then there was this swan. The water wasn’t clean enough to get a better reflection. We had a wonderful time and it feels good to leave the phone at home and just explore the nature. So, that’s it. Happy Monday everyone!
I thought I’d better start writing my articles because I have sooo many pictures to share! And a lot has been going on. I love summer. But first I need to show you this:This is a picture of the most perfect Rhythmic-Gymnastic-bun I’ve ever made by myself. It’s really difficult for me because my hair is long and smooth (most of the time) and buns don’t really … exist as long as I want them to. When I have one and go visit some place, I feel like I have to recreate it every five minutes so I’ll end up turning it into a pony tail. But this time it worked! However, it turned out useless as we got disqualified at the tournament because of a long story I won’t tell you about. ;) I hope my sister wont mind me posting this one, but I love it too much! It is off focus, I know, but anyway, it’s beautiful. My sister graduated and I was proud to visit the so called ‘ABI-Ball’.
Now, I don’t know what you think, but in my opinion everyone should eat lots of berries during summer! I love berries. But then we found this…A … slug? I’m not sure, I just looked up the word but unfortunately for me there are a lot of words for the German word “Schnecke” and most of them have nothing to do with the little one I caught on camera here… We thought it was funny or even cute to find this thing in our blueberry, but then there was a second one. That was the moment we all asked ourselves how many of these we ate already… nothing for vegetarians though.
I simply adore the summer sun! Isn’t it breathtaking? What would a summer be without a ladies-night!? We had a lot of catching up to do as every one traveled for weeks. It’s amazing to have such friends! In my hometown Rostock is the so called ‘Hanse-Sail’. It’s an every-year-event were a lot of ships come by from lots of different countries and then there are carousels and everything for the visitors. :) It’s a huge event every year and fun to visit. I even sailed with one of the big ships once, I was invited. It sure is beautiful to watch the sun go down over the water and then the ship’s lights turn on … Back to berries! I love to take pictures of my smoothies and milkshakes, or even coffees. And here we go, I took a selfie with my beautiful bike ‘Florita’. She insisted. ;)
Namasté! I tried to post something earlier but my creativity was taking a break… Oh, and I broke my finger, that makes it a little bit more complicated for me to type long texts… Anyway. Some time ago I had a friend over and we decided to use the sunshine and take some … well, interesting pictures ;). Jup. And then I decided to go for a walk on Friday. I maybe should have warned my mum that I would be gone for several hours because as the sun started to say goodbye, she worried and went looking after me. How was she supposed to know I was only about three minutes away from our house at that time? But I enjoyed my walk, I made it to the forest and found lots of fallen trees!I think that all that happened when the last storm hit our region. Hm… Oh, but before I was in between all the trees, a I got a cute scene before my lens. I once looked up all my pictures and noticed how I always photograph flowers or whatever plants but never every-day-life scenes. But the following one might be a good start. After all I can’t help being amazed by all the details of plants. So …As I sat down on a fallen tree in the forest, my camera battery was low and then died… so I was out there all by myself without a phone and without a watch, oops! This was the last picture I took:Unfortunately for me I found the best things after my camera died, but I’m sure I will go again and then do the catching up. And something is telling me I might have found one of these ‘special places’ which I might soon call my favorite place to hide out when I need time for myself.
The weather by the way is just great here in Germany!
