Reasons to have a diary

Hi, hello and welcome again!

I was thinking about what I could blog about and I thought: Why not writing about how the special little thing called diary became something very important for me. Let’s get started!180I began in 5th or 6th grade. I hate the phrase “dear diary” and then to write like the diary was some imaginary friend or therapist so I don’t do it. For me it’s enough to write down the date, the time and the day of the week. It was hard to get myself to write often or even everyday, because sometimes I was too tired to do it or just forgot it or wasn’t motivated enough. But one day I managed to make it some kind of everyday routine. And I do it for a few years now. But what is the point?039At first, to keep memories. We all know how fast we forget about funny things someone said, or even just day trips, good things. When I read my older diaries it makes me smile so much because  I’m being reminded of all those little things that made these days special. And I notice how I changed over the time. How I would have handled things differently if I could go back in time.051Second, when I read it, I sometimes feel like my eyes have been opened. I read about former problems and suddenly I see how stupid I was. Or when I thought to much about something, that turned out to be nothing big at all. And that’s important for the now. I think about my current situation and maybe I see a commonality. My ‘past-me’ sometimes solves my problems.034Third, I have to rethink the present day, what was good, what made me sad, what has to be solved tomorrow, blah blah blah. And I have to decide what to write down and what not, what was important to me. And I do it subconsciously. 041Fourth, I can’t run away from my feelings. I know that it’s always better to face something instead of ignoring it. When I, like I said, rethink the whole day, I remind myself of my feelings. It’s one huge step to be happy, because in this way, I always know where things go wrong and have to reflect how I can work that out. 027Fifth, I practice writing. It’s no joke. Haha. People that know me also know my terrible hand writing, so I shouldn’t open my mouth too wide here, but I mean it. In school (at least where I live) it sometimes is important how fast you can write. And during the weeks of holiday, some people don’t even think of touching a pen, and when they’re back at school they feel like they have to learn to write all over again. Not the best argument, but still an argument though. :)046Sixth. Hm, I’m running out of arguments. Oh, a creepy one: When you have an accident, wake up and remember nothing and nobody, then you’ll just read your diary and you’ll be all good again! :D050Yes, now I’m out. I have to admit, it sometimes is annoying to write into the diary every evening but for those who are super-lazy I can say: It’s enough to write down three or four words. I call it nano-diary-writing. You write down the ‘Higlight Of The Day’ (Short:HOTD), the ‘Worst Thing Today’ (WTT) and the ‘Hope For Tomorrow’ (HFT). The next day you’ll see if you’re dreams came true and I find it amazing how sometimes everything I wished and prayed for came exactly how I wanted. 016Do you know any other reasons to write a diary? Do you already do it or why not? Let me know, I’m curious.

Thanks for reading (in case anyone reads this).

Just like that

Hey again!

Hm, so how could I start …  Okay. So yesterday I had a sleepover, two friends came over and I had a great time! I wonder why we aren’t doing things like this oftener. Would be nice! And before my beautiful guests came I had to clean up my room. Unfortunately for me I love plants but let them die all the time. I don’t know what my mistake is but they always have either too much or too less water! Ugh! So The following very amazing plant had to be thrown away yesterday, it broke my heart, here’s why:Ephoto8 001You understand? This isn’t even the best picture of it, but I like how it shows of the beautiful flower pot, haha! Back to the sleepover-talk. I hate to organize, don’t tell my mom but I loooove to do things spontaneously. Which is why I probably wouldn’t have anything to eat for my guests if my dad wouldn’t have been so gentle to buy pizza. I simply adore pizza. Even though it’s not healthy and stuff, but … well, it’s delicious. I placed it in front of my piano to make it look royal. 047And then I had the gorgeous idea of eating marshmallows, mini marshmallows, grilled in the flame of a candle. The problem was, it was a smell-candle (can I say it like that or is there a special name for smelling candles?) and after a while, the marshmallows tasted like the candle … too bad. But it was kinda funny.088Yeah… Oh, and I have that one bracelet I love.Just want to show it, because I don’t know what else to put in this article ;).188braceletOh, and I got a very stunning birthday present! It’s been quite a while since my birthday but one friend hasn’t seen me since so… I like it!184 And I wanted to share something from my former photo tour, I almost forgot about it. I found it in the neighborhood.304 303Who’s idea was that? Haha, I think they’re cuties. So, that’s it, just like that. I hope you all have a great time!

Lonely and cold

Good morning everyone!

This post has to be read as a continuance of the old houses stuff, because I took these pictures yesterday on the same trip but considered them as a separate topic. What is this about? A field, a horse, and a lonely me walking through that fog. Awesome.  002It’s February but there are buds already! Yeah! Let’s just hope they wont be killed by some cold air until it’s spring. 275I found these while I photographed one of the buildings you can see here. I was – again – standing on a ground about which I wasn’t sure: Was I even allowed to stand there? I must say that I went pretty much ‘bad-ass’ yesterday. But … how far would you go for a picture? Hm…139 151As I walked and walked, I found a sign of human beings out there: a ladder. Yay, I’m not alone on this planet … :D104Well, I could have added this one to the old-houses article but I don’t know why, but I rather put it here. Can somebody tell me why I find this picture interesting? 169When I first walked over the field, I noticed these birds … and there were deers as well, but they ran of as I took pictures of the flying beauties. 192 201The reason why I walked so far in the first place weren’t any animals, but this cute hide. So I did something forbidden again, I climbed that ladder just to learn that the door upstairs was locked. And when I showed the pictures to my brother, he told me that only hunters should be up there … ups! But I don’t think that it is hunting season right now. 308Now, ladies and gentlemen, I represent you my village’s very oldest tree! Haha! Some say its a few hundred years old, others even claim that it must be over a thousand. But who knows, we all are not that old, are we? We could only tell if somebody cut that tree but we don’t want to kill the pride of our village!117Hihi, that’s me. I can tell you a story about that bandeau. My friend has one just like this and I fell in love with it. Not that I usually copy other people’s style but I simply wanted one just like that. I told my sister and one evening, she just came into my room, held this one up and said: “Look, I made you this, here you go, take it.” I was like “What?” because I was surprised and very thankful!

What is the last thing you were thankful for? Let me know! :D
